Music videos: Part 2
What is the significance of the objects on a windowsill? This work consists of interconnected narrative strands. Continuous repetition is intended to intensify the mood of the action, as the story’s conclusion – an inescapable escapade – appears inevitable.
The work came about following the purchase of a parlor palm and the acquisition of a piece of lapis lazuli. A loose exchange of voice messages between the artists – featuring various melodies and lyrics – combined with an exploration of windowsills, ultimately led to concepts for music videos. These, in turn, were intended to incorporate diverse narrative strands and moods.
The current version shows the thematic division as a direct screen division next to each other and only contains street noises and melodic components of the original song as sound.
