Art Character saga: Part 11
The old lecher, Stanislaus, the hip-hop artist MrNickOSir, and the fitness coach – all characters from Nicklas Hoffmann’s various web series – produce a chaotic radio show that attempts to trace the history of the mysterious castle pavilion in Ismaning and its diverse uses.
This work was created for the SoundArt exhibition Glitch and Reproduction, which was on view at the Castle Pavillon in Ismaning from August 3 to September 10, 2023. Using a mixing console, visitors were able to independently mix a total of eight audio tracks by eight different artists.
Related performance: The recurring character Stanislaus invited members of the audience to make a sound. The resulting noises were incorporated live into a piece of music.
