Stanislaus, the protagonist of the web series Nicklas Hoffmann: Art Character, gives instructions on how to behave in the exhibition space. What is permitted, what is prohibited, and when does it become dangerous?
The Ride (Signal!) was created for the exhibition irren, which was on view at the Pasinger Fabrik in Munich from February 9 to March 6, 2022. It embodies the inner thoughts of an artwork hanging in a gallery – one that wants to make all its rival pieces look outdated and desperately begs for the viewer's attention.
